Our Reishi tincture is a dual extract made from UK-grown Reishi fruiting bodies and prepared in small batches.

 

Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) is instantly recognisable by its kidney-shaped cap and deep red, lacquered sheen. Too woody and bitter for the kitchen, it has instead been prepared as teas and extracts for well over two thousand years. Known as lingzhi in China, it appears throughout Chinese art as a symbol of longevity and good fortune, and today it is often part of people's evening routines.

 

We extract the fruiting bodies in hot water, using ultrasonic extraction, and in plant-derived ethanol, then combine the two extracts into a single tincture. Nothing else goes in: no fillers, no grain-grown mycelium, no preservatives.

Ingredients
Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) fruiting body extract, purified water, plant-derived ethanol.
How to use
Shake well before use.
Take 1–2ml daily, directly or added to water, juice or another drink.
Do not exceed 3ml per day. A 50ml bottle lasts approximately 25 days.

Our extraction process

Every bottle passes through the same careful stages, in batches small enough to watch closely.

  1. Step 1: Selected

    Carefully selected mushrooms: UK-grown fruiting bodies, and wild chaga from Finland.

  2. Step 2: Extracted

    Extracted in hot water with the help of ultrasound, and separately in ethanol.

  3. Step 3: Combined

    Each extract is carefully brought together into the finished formulation.

  4. Step 4: Bottled

    Prepared in small batches in Dorset.

How it's made

  • Fruiting body first

    We use whole fruiting bodies rather than grain-grown biomass. Our chaga, which grows differently, is wild-harvested from birch.

  • Small-batch preparation

    Prepared in deliberately limited batches in Dorset, so each one can be looked after properly.

  • Dual extraction

    Hot water with ultrasonic extraction, and ethanol, each draw out different mushroom constituents.

  • Carefully sourced

    Lion's Mane, Reishi, Cordyceps and Oyster are grown in the UK. Our chaga is wild-harvested in Finland.
