Welcome to Spore & Bloom
Nestled in the picturesque landscape of Dorset, Spore & Bloom is inspired by the beauty and tradition of the natural world, captured in every carefully crafted bottle.
Our heritage and craft
Our story began in childhood, learning the art of mushroom foraging from parents and grandparents. That knowledge, passed down through generations, is the foundation of everything we create: premium mushroom tinctures made with carefully selected ingredients and traditional extraction methods.
We value quality, simplicity and a deep respect for nature, and we love the unique character, history and versatility of mushrooms, whether enjoyed in seasonal cooking or thoughtfully prepared into botanical extracts.
Meet our growers
A tincture can only ever be as good as the mushrooms that go into it, which is why we’re delighted to have teamed up with Jurassic Coast Mushrooms as the sole provider of our mushroom ingredients.
Based just down the road at Duck Farm Workshops, Dorchester DT2 8QL, they are an independent Dorset mushroom specialist and keepers of one of the country’s most extensive mushroom libraries, with more than 80 species and a particular devotion to UK natives. They know mushrooms inside out, and they share our insistence on doing things properly.
Two Dorset businesses, one shared passion. Every bottle of Spore & Bloom now starts with their mushrooms, so we know exactly where our ingredients come from and who has cared for them along the way.
From Dorset to bottle
Our passion for mushrooms extends into small-batch craftsmanship rooted in care, tradition and attention to detail. Every tincture is produced with a focus on purity, sustainability and consistency, allowing the natural qualities of each mushroom to speak for themselves.
We invite you to explore the fascinating world of mushrooms with us in the Spore & Bloom Library. If you’d like to learn more about our handcrafted tinctures or have any questions, please email info@sporeandbloom.co.uk.
